Fall Fellowship
Fall Fellowship was a great success. A big thank you goes out to everyone who came out for the fun filled weekend. Several Brotherhood conversions took place during this event, and more are needed by the end of the year to complete our otherwise successful quest for designation as a Quality Lodge, so if you are eligible and interested in making the next step to Brotherhood membership, please contact our Lodge Chief or Advisor.
Other Events
The LODGE BANQUET was held Nov. 1, 2008 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 6110 Chicago Ave. just off the spur leading to the South Loop in southwest Lubbock. Fellowship began at 6:30 pm and the banquet itself started at 7:00 pm. This event is open to all OA members and their friends and families. All present enjoyed the fellowship, fun reminiscences of events of our previous year, and investiture of the new officers!
Lodge Leadership Development training was conducted at Camp Post Nov. 21-23, 2008. ALL troop unit representatives, officers and their advisers were requested to attend. This training is a very important way for us to build the strength, background knowledge and experience in leadership that we need to serve and live up to our role and responsibility as Scouting's National Honor Society.
